Welcome to Amelia Jacob Photography

Northumberland and North East Wedding and Family Photographer.

Specialising in bumps, babies and everything beyond.

I love capturing the moments that make up your life; the relationships, the milestones, those important events so that you can cherish them forever. xx

I’m Gill and I’ve been a family and portrait photographer for 7 years and have been photographing weddings for 3 years. I consider myself a very friendly and easy going person. I’m passionate about what I do and love creating and capturing genuine and candid moments for you to cherish.

The inspiration for my business name comes from my two beautiful children, Jacob and Amelia, they are the centre of my universe. Prior to being a mother I was a primary school teacher. I adore the company of little ones and getting to know their personalities. I’m also a massive dog lover so forgive me if I spend more time talking to your dog than I do you!

I am at my happiest when I am outdoors, especially with wellies and a walking stick. Everything is better when you find a good stick!

I hope to see you soon, Gill xx

We have been going to Gill for a few years now and I can honestly say every time we have been over the moon with all our pictures. She is a one of a kind photographer very patient and lovely with the little ones, she always captures not just beautiful pictures but our children’s personality and character. Some very special memories have been captured by Gill and we are so grateful to have those pictures to look back on! X.

I love getting to know people. The majority of my family portrait clients come back again and again so I’m privileged to get to know many of them personally and get to see their little ones growing up through my camera lens. I adore weddings so I genuinely want to hear about all of your plans and I guarantee that I will ask you about your dress!

If you have any questions, would like to check my availability or just have a chat about your wedding please get in touch! I would love to hear from you.
